Like Maria I have so many great memories of both Dempsey and Nikki while they were boarding. I am afraid I will be facing the same decision within the year. My lab/boxer SPCA special is having difficulty with his back legs, but so far is compensating…. What a gorgeous boy. I just loved the video of him, relaxing under a tree, surveying his domain. Hang in there…we’ve had to make the decision about our pets, too, and it hurts you so deeply inside, but Dempsey will always be in your heart. You have such special pictures, videos, and memories. He lived a wonderful life with you and touched many, many lives. He’s made a difference (and so have you), and he will never be forgotten.
